Look Im in a massive rush because my best friends bachelor party is literally next Friday and I still havent gotten the supplies ordered. We have like 8 guys and everyone wants to chip in for different stuff like specialized snacks and some hiking gear we need for the trip to Colorado. Im torn between using the Share-A-Cart browser extension or just trying to use that built-in Amazon Manage Your List thing but honestly the Amazon one feels so clunky and I heard it doesnt actually let people add stuff to a single checkout cart easily.

Theres also this app called CartX I saw mentioned on Reddit but I dont know if its legit or just gonna steal my login info. Here is what I need:

Needs to be instant since I gotta order by tomorrow for shipping

Has to be easy for non-tech guys to use

Free is better because we already blew the budget on the Airbnb

Must let multiple people add items so I can just pay once and they venmo me

Im leaning toward Share-A-Cart because it seems the most straightforward but Im worried about it glitching out with 8 people adding stuff at once. Has anyone used these for a big group buy before? Is there a better way to do this or should I just stick with the extension...

Can multiple people actually add items to a single Amazon list or is it just limited to one person doing all the work? I am honestly in a bit of a panic because I am trying to organize this massive family reunion camping trip up in the Catskills for next week and there are like 18 people involved. I have a budget of about $800 for group gear like industrial sized coolers, solar chargers, and a few backup tents but I cant be the one hunting down every single item everyone wants. I need my brothers and cousins to be able to jump into the list and add the specific stuff they need without me having to manually copy-paste links from their texts all day.

I spent like an hour googling this morning and I am still so confused because I saw some articles saying you just hit the invite button and toggle a switch to let people edit, but then I saw a bunch of older forum posts from like 2023 saying Amazon removed the collaborative list feature or that it only works for Alexa shopping lists. Then some other person said guests can only view the list and not add stuff unless they have my login info which obviously I am not giving out to 15 different cousins lol.

It is super urgent because we need to place the order by Friday morning to make sure everything gets to the campsite on time. Is there a specific setting I am missing? Like is it under the Manage List menu or do I have to send a specific type of link? If this isnt possible I might have to switch to like a Google Doc or something but then we lose the easy one-click checkout and tracking which is what we really need for the budget. If anyone knows if this actually works right now in 2024 please let me know because I am about to lose my mind trying to coordinate this stuff...

Finally pulled the trigger on a Z6II after months of debating and man my wallet is feeling it. I'm coming from an old D750 so the whole mirrorless thing is a bit of a learning curve for me. I've got about $400 left in my gear fund before my wife starts giving me the side-eye and I need to make it count because I have a couple of engagement shoots coming up in the Portland area next month and it’s probably gonna be drizzling knowing the weather here.

I've been doing some reading and everyone keeps saying I absolutely HAVE to get a CFexpress Type B card for the faster write speeds and the dual slot peace of mind but those things are like $200 just for a decent card and then another $50 for a reader and I'm sitting here thinking... do I really need that right away? I have a bunch of fast V30 and V60 SD cards from my old setup and I'm wondering if I can just get away with those for now or if the camera is gonna chug if I'm shooting bursts. My logic was that I could save that money for a better strap or maybe an extra battery instead.

Speaking of batteries I keep seeing the MB-N11 grip mentioned everywhere. Some guys on the forums say it's a must-have for the ergonomics especially if you have bigger hands but it makes the camera so much bulkier. I like the idea of the extra battery life for a long day but is it total overkill? I also saw some people recommending those SmallRig cages even if you aren't doing video just for the protection and the extra grip but then some other people say it's just extra weight you dont need if you're just doing stills.

Then there is the screen protector thing. I never used them on my DSLRs but the screen on this thing feels so much more exposed since it tilts out. Is that just me being paranoid? I'm trying to figure out what is actually essential for day-to-day use versus what is just nice to have gear head fluff. If you had 400 bucks to rig this thing out for professional-ish work what are the absolute non-negotiables for you? I'm especially torn on the card situation...

Okay so look I am in a total panic because we are moving in literally 12 days and my brain is totally fried. We have three different Amazon accounts going in this house (dont ask, long story with student discounts and business stuff) and I am trying to keep the shopping lists synced so we dont buy the same vacuum or coffee maker three times. Its a mess and we've already accidentally double-ordered a set of pans because communication is breaking down. I need a way to literally have one master list that updates across all three accounts because my mom keeps adding stuff to hers and I cant see it on mine without clicking a million links and it's driving me insane.

Ive been looking at a few things but I dont know which one actually works without stealing all my data or just crashing. Here is what I am torn between:

The Copy-Move Amazon Lists chrome extension: I've heard mixed reviews about it being super buggy and I dont want to lose my whole list of 200 items if the extension glitches out.

AnyList: I know it has an import thing but does it actually sync back to Amazon properly so I can see what was actually purchased?

Just sticking with the native Invite to List feature on Amazon: The problem is it feels so clunky and half the time my mom says she cant find the shared list on her mobile app even though I sent the invite link twice.

My constraints are pretty tight:

Needs to be under like 10 bucks or free because moving is expensive as hell and we are already way over budget

Has to be easy enough for my mom to use, she is not tech savvy at all and will give up if there are too many steps

Needs to update in real-time or at least sync every hour because we are buying stuff fast before the moving truck gets here

Has to handle a lot of items across different categories like kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom stuff

I'm leaning towards trying the chrome extension but I am really worried about it being a security risk or just failing right when I need it. Is there any other tool that specifically handles account-to-account syncing? I need this sorted by Friday or I am definitely gonna lose my mind...

I've been shooting with Nikon DSLRs for over a decade and always relied on my old Lee 100mm kit, but I just moved to a Z7II and the vignetting on these wider mirrorless lenses is way worse than I expected at 14mm.

I'm heading to Glacier National Park in three weeks and need a solid circular polarizer and some NDs that wont weigh me down.

I am honestly so sick of Keepa and how they literally hide everything useful behind that subscription now. I remember when you could actually see the sales rank and the buy box history for free but now its like they want 20 bucks a month just to see a basic graph and i just cant justify that right now. Im trying to get into flipping some vintage lego sets and a few tech gadgets on the side to help pay for my car insurance but my budget is basically zero since I havent made a sale yet this month. It is just so frustrating when every tool worth using is subscription based these days.

Are there actually any decent alternatives that dont cost a dime? Im looking for:

price history charts that go back at least a few months

sales rank tracking (this is the big one keepa hides)

maybe some kind of alert system when prices drop

browser extension that works on chrome

I tried CamelCamelCamel but it feels kinda clunky and sometimes the data is way off compared to what im seeing live on the amazon page. I just need something reliable so i dont get stuck with inventory that wont move or lose money on a bad buy. Is there anything else out there or am i just stuck paying for keepa...

So I finally finished setting up my baby registry for our little girl coming in November and I am literally so pumped about all the cute Cloud Island stuff I found! My sister is hosting the shower in about three weeks and she keeps texting me asking for the link because my aunts in Georgia want to start buying stuff already. I’ve been poking around the Target app for like twenty minutes and I feel so dumb lol.

I searched online and one help page said there should be a big share button right under the registry name on the main page but I’m looking at it on my iPhone and there is nothing there but an edit button. Then I tried logging in on my laptop because some people on a different thread said the desktop version has a sidebar link for it but everything looks different now? Maybe they updated the layout or something? I just want to send the direct link to our family group chat so they dont have to search by my name because my last name is super common and they keep finding some other lady in Ohio.

Can someone tell me exactly where they hid the share link now? Is it buried in the settings or am I just missing a giant button right in front of my face... I really need to get this out to them before the weekend!
