So I finally got the green light from my wife to drop some real cash on my first build in like six years and I am literally vibrating with excitement lol. I have about $1200 saved up and I am aiming to finish this by next friday because its for my brothers birthday here in Chicago and I want it to be a surprise.

I have been staring at the Newegg pages for the RTX 4070 Super and some Ryzen chips all day long but the prices keep bouncing around like crazy. I usually use CamelCamelCamel for everything but obviously that only works for Amazon and I really want to stick with Newegg for the combo savings they have going on right now.

I was looking at PCPartPicker but sometimes their price history feels a bit laggy or it doesnt catch the flash sales fast enough and I dont want to miss a drop. I also tried Honey but it doesnt really give me that long-term graph I want to see if the 'sale' is actually a good deal. Is there something better for Newegg specifically or am I just stuck refreshing the page every ten minutes? Does anyone know a site that specializes in Newegg data history?

I just picked up an X-T5 for a massive street project in Tokyo starting next Thursday and honestly im kinda panicking. Ive shot Fuji for years but mostly stuck to the older zooms and my trusty X-T3. The problem is the 40mp sensor is just unforgiving and my current kit feels sluggish and bulky for fast moving crowds. I need something small enough to stay discrete but sharp enough to actually utilize all those megapixels. Budget is roughly 900 bucks and I gotta buy it before I fly out.

Should I go with the new 18mm f1.4 or is that too big for street? Or maybe the 33mm f1.4? Which primes are you guys using that actually resolve well on the X-T5 sensor?

Which prime lens should I actually get for portraits on my a7IV because I feel like I'm drowning in reviews and keep changing my mind every five minutes? I have my sisters wedding coming up in August here in Seattle and I really want to nail the shots but I only have the kit lens and a cheap 50mm right now which just isnt cutting it for that professional look.

I spent the last three nights stayin up late reading about the Sony 85mm f1.4 GM and everyone says the bokeh is legendary but then I see people complaining that the autofocus is old and slow compared to the newer glass and now I'm worried it wont keep up with people dancing or moving around during the ceremony. Then I looked at the Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN Art which is way cheaper and supposedly sharper but some people on reddit were saying the pincushion distortion is weird and requires a lot of digital correction in post and I just dont want to spend hours fixing things like that if I can avoid it. Plus the weather sealing in Seattle is a big deal and I heard Sigma isnt always as good as the native Sony stuff when it gets misty outside.

My budget is strictly around $1400 maybe a bit more if I stretch it but honestly I just want one lens that I can rely on for the wedding and then start a little headshot business on the side later this year. Is 85mm too tight for indoor stuff? Some people swear by the 35mm for "environmental" portraits but I dont want my sisters nose to look huge because of the wide angle distortion you know? I'm just really anxious about dropping over a thousand bucks on something that might be the wrong tool for the job. Should I just go for the Sony 85mm f1.8 and save the money or is the f1.4 really that much of a game changer for that "creamy" background look everyone wants? It's so hard to decide when every youtube video says something different...

What is the best tool for checking Amazon price history because I need to make a decision fast? I am trying to buy a Breville Barista Express for my sisters wedding this weekend and the price is all over the place on Amazon US. One minute its 700 then it drops to 550 and then right back up.

I read that CamelCamelCamel is the go-to but then I saw a bunch of reddit threads saying the email alerts are super delayed and I might miss the window. I also checked out Keepa but wow that interface is a mess if you arent a pro seller or something. It has like ten different colored lines and I just want to know if the current price is a good deal or if I should wait an hour. Is there something simpler that actually works in real time?

I really need to get this ordered by tomorrow night so it arrives on time. I am trying to stay under a $600 budget and every time I look it feels like the price changes. Do any of these apps actually track lightning deals reliably or am I just gonna have to sit here and refresh the page all day...

Does anyone know a way to make just ONE link that tracks a bunch of products from different websites because I am seriously losing my mind with all these open tabs. I am currently in the middle of a kitchen and bathroom refresh for my place in Austin and I have stuff I want from IKEA, some specific tile from Wayfair, and then like five different things from Home Depot and I cannot for the life of me find a simple way to just... see them all at once?

I have tried using those basic wishlist apps but they always glitch out or they dont update the price when it changes and honestly I am just so fed up with manually copy-pasting URLs into a stupid Excel spreadsheet that I never even open. Its just exhausting. I have a budget of about $5,000 for these fixtures and appliances and I need to get everything ordered by the end of the month but I keep missing sales because I cant keep track of everything across ten different sites.

I tried using Pinterest but that is just a bunch of pretty pictures and it doesnt actually track if something goes out of stock or if the price drops which is what I really need. Then I tried this one Chrome extension but it crashed and lost my whole list of lighting fixtures for the dining room and I almost threw my laptop out the window. I just want a single link I can send to my husband or my contractor so they can see what I am looking at without me having to send twenty separate texts.

Needs to work with different stores not just Amazon or one big brand

Actually shows if the price changes in real time

One shareable link that actually looks decent

Doesnt require other people to make an account just to see the list

Is there a specific tool or maybe some kind of dashboard that makes this less of a nightmare? I feel like I am wasting so much time just trying to stay organized when I should be actually buying the stuff. My timeline is super tight and I need this sorted by next week or I am gonna lose it...

I'm looking at the Arte di Mano because they look amazing but I'm worried about the lead time to New York. My other option is the Oberwerth cases which seem easier to get fast but I've heard they can be a bit stiff? I've got maybe $400 max to spend but speed is the biggest thing right now.

I just got my first real camera which is a Fujifilm X-T5 and honestly I am so scared I am going to drop it or scratch it before I even get to use it properly. I am heading to Japan in about three weeks for a dream trip and I really need to figure out how to carry this thing plus the two lenses I bought which are the kit 18-55mm one and that big 70-300mm zoom lens. I have literally zero experience with camera gear so sorry if this is a super basic question but I am totally lost looking at all the options online and my head is kinda spinning.

My logic was just to put everything in my regular North Face backpack but then I started worrying about the lenses clinking together or the screen getting smashed while I am on the plane or the train. I saw these hard plastic cases like Pelican ones but they look so heavy and I dont want to carry a literal suitcase around the streets of Tokyo all day. Then I saw these soft shoulder bags but some of them are like $200 or $300 which feels insane? My budget is really tight now because the camera and lenses already broke the bank so I am trying to stay under $100 if possible.

I was thinking about maybe getting one of those padded insert things? Like a little box with dividers that goes inside a normal bag? But I dont know if they actually protect anything or if the gear just slides around inside and gets ruined. I also saw some people talking about wraps that look like thick cloth? It all seems so confusing and I dont know what is actually safe for a 12 hour flight.

Are there specific brands that make stuff specifically for Fuji because the cameras are a bit smaller than those big Canon or Nikon DSLRs?

Is it better to have a dedicated camera bag or just a padded pouch for my existing bag?

What do you guys use when you are walking miles and miles in a city and need to grab the camera fast?

I really want something that doesn't scream I have an expensive camera inside but also I dont want to be cheap and have my lens snap off if I bump into a wall. It is all very overwhelming and I keep switching between wanting a tiny leather case and a giant waterproof box and I just cant decide what makes sense for a beginner...
