I'm looking to dive deeper into street photography with my M10 and can't decide on the right glass. I'm torn between a compact 35mm Summicron for portability or a wider 28mm Elmarit for those tight urban scenes. Since I'm often shooting on the move, what’s your go-to M-mount lens that balances size and character?

The Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f/2 Aspherical Type II Vintage Line VM is tiny and basically matches Leica performance for way less. ngl ur wallet will thank u!

Respectfully, I'd consider a different approach... in my experience, focusing just on compactness or price can be pretty risky. Over the years, I've seen budget lenses with QC issues that literally fail mid-shoot. Before suggesting anything, are you prioritizing mechanical reliability and build quality over pure size? Also, is ur M10 gonna be used in harsh environments?? TBH, a lens that breaks isn't a good deal!
