^ This. Also, honestly its ridiculous how much these manufacturers expect us to pay for glass lately. It drives me crazy that even within the MFT ecosystem, you still have to be so careful about compatibility issues or weird software bugs that ruin a whole shoot. One time I spent way too much on a lens that was supposed to be fully compatible but the autofocus just kept hunting and stuttering on my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV. Felt like a total scam. Prices keep climbing while quality control goes down the drain, which makes me so nervous to buy anything new. You really gotta watch out because these companies dont seem to care if their gear actually works together seamlessly anymore. It's such a headache trying to stay safe with these builds when everything is so overpriced and unreliable... kinda makes you want to give up sometimes.

^ This. Also, prices are totally getting out of hand lately. Buying pro glass for a tiny body like the E-M10 IV feels like overkill sometimes. I'd say be careful with those expensive f/1.2 primes because the autofocus on this body is contrast-only. It's gonna pulse and hunt if you're not careful, which basically ruins your shot anyway. Quick reply while I have a sec, but honestly, if you wanna save some serious cash, look at the Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH. It's dirt cheap and handles video surprisingly well for the price. Another solid budget pick is the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ pancake lens. It's quiet and tiny, perfect for vlogging if you dont mind the slower aperture. Just make sure to keep an eye on your lighting because the E-M10 IV can get a bit noisy in the shadows. Plus, remember there's no mic jack on that camera, so dont go spending all your money on lenses when you might need an external recorder anyway lol.
