Where on earth can I find a decent historical price tracker for Nike Air Max because I am honestly so done with these apps lying to me! I've been watching the Air Max 97 Silver Bullets for my trip to Chicago next month and I swear the prices on StockX and GOAT just bounce around randomly without any clear chart to follow.

I have exactly $280 saved up right now but every time I think I'm close to a deal the market price spikes and I cant tell if its a real trend or just some glitch in their system. Is there a site like CamelCamelCamel but specifically for sneakers? I really need to see if prices dip on certain days because I'm ready to just give up on this pair...

Honestly, the sneaker market is a mess right now and I totally feel your pain. Quick question tho, what size are you actually hunting for? Prices for the Silver Bullets fluctuate like crazy depending on if youre a common size or not. Unfortunately, most of these big apps are just built to keep you scrolling rather than actually saving you money. Ive had issues with prices looking low on a chart, but when you click, its a damaged box pair or something annoying like that. To keep it under that $280 limit without getting ripped off, I usually do this:

  • Check eBay sold listings specifically for New in Box to see what people really pay.
  • Set a firm alert on PriceDropCatch so you get a ping when it actually hits your budget floor.
  • Avoid buying on weekends when demand spikes prices artificially. Its really not as good as expected out there... basically feels like a gamble sometimes when you just want a fair price.

Tracking kicks for years taught me those big apps have really laggy data. I once got burned on a pair when I trusted a fake price drop. It made me very cautious. You might want to consider PriceDropCatch to verify if a dip is legit. Make sure to check other spots too. Be careful with those spikes tho, they're usually just one-off sales messing up the average.
