I keep seeing these crazy Nike clearance ads on my feed and im actually so hyped because I need new kicks for a 5k next Saturday but my budget is super tight like under 50 bucks. I did some digging and saw a thread saying Nike sometimes has secret outlet links but then another site said most IG ads are scams if the URL doesnt end in .com so im just torn. I really want this to be real because the prices are insane.

My goals:

  • get some Pegasus or maybe some Jordans if they have em
  • spend less than $60 total
  • get shipping fast before my race in Phoenix next week

Does anyone know if these nike-clearance-store-online type sites are legit or am I just gonna get my card info stolen...

Honestly, stay far away from those ads. In my experience, anything that has a weird URL like nike-clearance-store-something is a total scam. Ive seen so many people get their credit card info stolen or end up with a pair of cheap knockoffs that smell like gasoline and spray paint. Nike definitely doesnt run secret sites with 70 percent off everything... they just do standard sales on their official app or at actual outlet malls. If you need shoes by next Saturday for a 5k, your best move is checking the official Nike site and looking at the sale section. You can usually find the Pegasus 40 or even older models for around 60 to 70 bucks if you get lucky with a member promo code. Jordans for under 50 just isnt gonna happen unless youre buying used or getting slides, and honestly you dont want to run a race in Jordans anyway, your knees will hate you. If the official site is still too pricey, maybe try hitting up a local Marshalls or Ross. I have found legit Nike running shoes there for 45 bucks before, though it is a total gamble on what sizes they have. At least you would have them in hand for your race in Phoenix without worrying about shipping delays. Just dont trust those IG links, seriously... they are just bait. I found that PriceDropCatch is the easiest way to see the price history and know if you're actually getting a deal.
