Okay so I gotta get a lens for my Iceland trip like... yesterday and Im stressing because of this X-T5 sensor. My logic was just to grab the 10-24mm since it covers everything but then I saw a few threads saying it looks soft on the 40mp sensor and thats the last thing I want for huge landscape prints.

Ive been looking at the 18mm f1.4 LM WR because its supposedly the sharpest but is 18mm wide enough? I read that the new 23mm f1.4 is also insane but maybe too tight? Budget is like $1k and Im really running out of time here to decide... do the primes really make that much of a difference for the 40mp sensor or is the 10-24mkii good enough?

I had issues with the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR and it was unfortunately a lot softer than I expected on the X-T5. It just didnt feel reliable for big prints. To be safe, skip the zooms for this sensor. The Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R LM WR is much sharper and actually handles the 40mp resolution properly.
