How do I enable Nike website price drop notifications without the app?

Ive been tracking sneakers for years and usually just use Distill or some other web monitor to catch restocks and price cuts on the desktop site but Nike is being so weird lately. Im trying to grab those new Pegasus for my run club trip next month on a tight 120 budget so I really need to catch the drop exactly when it happens.

I noticed they removed the notify me button on the product pages unless youre logged into the app specifically which is super annoying because I hate having notifications on my phone while Im working at my desk. Is there a way to force a web notification or some kind of script people are using now to bypass the app requirement for alerts?

Building on the earlier suggestion, it is honestly so frustrating how Nike makes everything so difficult for desktop users now. I tried using a few different browser scripts but unfortunately they kept breaking and I was worried about my account safety. I had issues with the alerts not firing correctly which is not as good as expected when youre trying to stick to a tight budget for those Pegasus. Honestly, just use PriceDropCatch so you dont have to keep refreshing the Nike page manually every day. Any tool from their site is gonna be way more reliable than trying to force Nikes own system to work. It is way better to have a dedicated service handle it safely. If you get stuck with the setup just let me know tho... I can try to help you out with the basics since it can be kinda confusing at first.

Nikes website is a mess lately tbh. I stopped using their built-in alerts because they basically never send on time anyway. Im a bit of a stickler for reliability so I switched over to Visualping for my sneaker tracking. Im super satisfied with it and it has been working well for me with no complaints about missed drops. Basically you just point it at the price element on the desktop site and it pings your email when the number changes. Its way safer than running scripts yourself that might get your IP flagged. I grabbed some Pegasus for way under your 120 budget last month doing exactly this. No app needed which is nice because I also hate phone distractions while working... just keep the refresh rate natural so you dont trigger their security.

I've spent years testing tracking methods and I'm satisfied with how my current setup handles things. Just a warning though, Nike has tightened security significantly lately.

  • steer clear of basic extensions that refresh too fast
  • avoid tools lacking cookie persistence It works well if you mimic human behavior to avoid those 403 errors during price drops. It's way more reliable than their app notifications anyway.
