I am honestly so fed up with the SNKRS app and these ridiculous resale sites. Tried to grab some basic dunks yesterday and they were gone in like two seconds flat and now people are asking double on StockX like I have that kind of money?? Im just looking for some everyday beaters like maybe some Blazers or something for under $90 but everything is so overpriced everywhere I look. My old Nikes are literally falling apart at the seams and I need a new pair before I start my new job next Monday.
Does anyone know where to actually find legit Nike sneakers for cheap these days that isnt just full of bots or crazy markups?...
Honestly, it is getting impossible to find decent deals lately. I remember when you could just walk into a shop and grab Blazers for 70 bucks but those days are gone. Unfortunately, the big retailers like Foot Locker and Finish Line have basically let the bots win, and even their sales are usually just junk nobody wants. I have had issues with smaller boutique sites too where they cancel your order three days later because they oversold. Be really careful with those random sites you see on social media ads... if they have a full size run of Pandas for sixty bucks, they are 100% fake. Avoid them like the plague because you wont get your money back. If you need them by Monday, your best bet is hitting a Nike Factory Store or an Outlet if you have one nearby, though even those are pretty cleared out of anything good lately. I usually keep an eye on PriceDropCatch to snag actual legit discounts before the resellers realize they are there. Its not as good as it used to be but it beats paying double on StockX. Honestly, check the Sale tab on the Nike app directly around 3 AM EST on Thursdays. Thats usually when they dump the returns and last-season stock. Just dont expect miracles because the hype culture has really ruined the hobby for us regular people tbh.
