So Prime Day is coming up in a few weeks and I really need to get some wireless earbuds because mine keep breaking. I'm totally lost though like idk what the difference between all these brands is. Sorry if this is a basic question but I have no idea where to start looking lol. My budget is around $120 max and I mostly need them for my commute here in NYC.
What I'm looking for:
- stay in my ears when I walk fast
- block out some of the city noise
- easy to set up with an iphone
Is it better to wait for the big sale or just buy whatever now? I'm worried I'll buy something thats actually junk...

I have been using wireless gear for years and honestly, waiting for Prime Day is the right move. You will see much better deals on hardware that actually lasts. Since you are on an iPhone, sticking to Apple or Beats is the easiest way to go for that instant pairing. I have been very satisfied with the Apple AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C. They stay put even when I am speed-walking and the noise cancellation handles the city noise well. No complaints at all. They might be slightly over $120, but the sale price usually gets close. If not, check out the Beats Studio Buds + True Wireless Noise Cancelling instead. They usually drop well below $120 during sales and they fit really securely. Both work perfectly with iPhones without any headache. TLDR: Wait for the sale. Look for Apple or Beats models because they pair instantly with iPhones and usually go on deep discount.
