Hey everyone,

I'm already starting to think about the DJI Black Friday sales for 2025! I know it's early, but DJI gear is a big investment, and I want to be prepared.

Has anyone had good luck finding specific deals on DJI products during past Black Fridays? Where are the best places to watch for those deals? I'm thinking of checking the official DJI store, Amazon, and maybe Best Buy, but are there any other retailers that usually have good DJI discounts? Also, do DJI refurbished deals usually get any extra Black Friday discounts or is it better to just watch out for new products? Any tips or advice on how to snag the best DJI Black Friday deals in 2025 would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hey there! I totally get the early planning – DJI gear is a serious investment, and Black Friday can be a goldmine if you play it right. I've been flying DJI drones for years, and I've learned a few tricks along the way. While I haven't specifically upgraded *during* a Black Friday sale, I have kept a close eye on the deals each year, and I've seen some patterns.

My advice, and it's a bit different from just scouring the usual suspects, is to keep a very close watch on *smaller, authorized DJI dealers*. Places like Adorama or B&H Photo Video sometimes offer surprisingly deep discounts that beat out even DJI's official store or Amazon. They might not advertise as loudly, so you have to actively check their websites and sign up for their newsletters. I actually picked up a second battery for my Mavic 2 Pro from Adorama one year for almost half the price it was listed everywhere else. I was very happy.

Also, don't completely dismiss the DJI Refurbished section, but proceed with caution. I've had a positive experience buying refurbished directly from DJI (no complaints!), but I wouldn't expect massive Black Friday discounts *on top* of the already reduced prices. The key is to check the warranty and return policy very carefully. And always inspect the drone thoroughly when it arrives. For me, the savings was worth it. I was satisfied with the purchase. It works well.

Finally, and this is just a general tip, be aware of scams. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Stick with authorized retailers and double-check the seller's reputation before handing over your credit card. Fly safe!

Hope that helps! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions as Black Friday 2025 approaches. I'm happy to share any insights I can.

Hey! Thinking about Black Friday already? Amazing! While everyone's looking for discounts, have you considered the DJI Certified Refurbished route directly from DJI? They're usually cheaper, but sometimes new products get bigger discounts. Plus, DJI refurbs come with a warranty, just like new ones! I'd advise checking the DJI website's refurbished section a few weeks before Black Friday to see what they have. Make sure to compare those prices against potential new product deals – good luck snagging a bargain!

Hey! Everyone's hunting for deals, which is understandable, but before you upgrade, especially to something like the Mavic 3 Pro, I'd suggest really thinking about *why* you're upgrading. Newer isn't always *better* for *your* needs.

From a safety perspective, make sure any upgrade truly enhances your flying experience *and* safety. The Air 2S is already a solid drone. Are you encountering limitations that the Mavic 3 Pro specifically addresses? Consider things like obstacle avoidance improvements or flight time increases and how they impact *your* typical flights.

Personally, I've found that spending time really mastering my current equipment and investing in things like advanced flight training courses can sometimes yield better results than just upgrading. Safe flying!

Hey! Black Friday planning this early? You're dedicated, and I respect that! Everyone's hitting the usual suspects (DJI, Amazon, Best Buy), which is smart, but in my experience, *true* value on Black Friday for DJI stuff isn't always about the biggest headline discount.

Over the years, I've learned to prioritize bundling and 'last year's model' deals. For example, instead of chasing a small discount on the Mavic 3 Pro next year, keep an eye out for bundles that include extra batteries, ND filters, or even DJI Care Refresh. Often, these add-ons are discounted heavily *with* the drone, providing way more value than just 10% off the drone itself. I nabbed a Mavic 2 Pro Fly More Combo a few years back where the combo itself was discounted more than the drone standalone – felt like stealing! And if you're considering the Mavic 3 Pro, keep an eye on deals for the Mavic 3 (non-Pro). If you can live without the extra telephoto lens, you might save a bundle and still get a fantastic camera.

Also, don't sleep on smaller retailers that might be trying to clear out DJI stock. Places like Adorama or B&H Photo often have surprisingly good deals, especially on accessories and older models. I've tried many sites and have had success with these two in particular. I wouldn't expect extra discounts on DJI refurbished items, but the refurbished route can still be a great way to save some money and might be worth considering.

Ultimately, before Black Friday rolls around, figure out the *maximum* you're willing to spend, and then focus on finding the best *value* within that budget. Good luck next year, and feel free to ask if you have more questions as we get closer!

Hey! Black Friday planning this early is seriously impressive! Everyone's talking DJI, DJI, DJI... but hear me out: don't ONLY fixate on DJI! Black Friday is the PERFECT time to scope out the competition. For example, Autel Robotics has been seriously upping their game, and you might find some *amazing* deals on their Evo series. I've seen Evo Lite+ models (comparable to the Air 2S) go for almost HALF the price of a Mavic 3 during past sales! And the image quality is fantastic! Seriously, do a little YouTube comparison! Plus, think about accessories! Sometimes you can snag a killer deal on extra batteries or ND filters for other brands, which could make the overall cost way more appealing, even if the initial drone price isn't *quite* as low as you'd hoped! Good luck and happy hunting – let us know what you find!

Hey! Yeah, planning for Black Friday DJI deals *this* early is smart, especially if you're eyeing a Mavic 3 Pro upgrade! Everyone's suggesting where to *buy*, but let's talk about prepping your *current* Mavic Air 2S.

Before sinking a ton into a new drone, consider if you could enhance your Air 2S's lifespan and image quality yourself. I’ve been flying for years, and I've found that often, a few DIY upgrades can make a HUGE difference. For example, have you looked into aftermarket lens filters? I grabbed a set of Freewell filters for my old Mavic Air (not quite your 2S, but similar camera setup) about three years ago. Cost me around $80, but the improved image quality in bright sunlight was *remarkable*. Seriously improved my shots, no complaints!

Also, think about extra batteries and a better charging hub. More flight time always helps! I remember snagging a two-pack of aftermarket batteries for my Phantom 4 way back when, and they worked surprisingly well – saved me a bunch compared to the official DJI ones, though I always kept a close eye on their performance. This might give you more of a 'new drone' feel without the actual new drone pricetag.

I'm not saying don't upgrade, but investing a little time (and maybe a hundred bucks or so) into your existing drone might scratch that itch and let you wait another year for the Mavic 3 Pro deals to get even better. Plus, you'll have a killer backup drone! Good luck with your Black Friday hunt, whatever you decide!

Hey! Black Friday planning *this* far out shows dedication! Everyone's talking about where to buy and *when* to buy, but let's zoom out and think long-term about that Mavic 3 Pro upgrade. I made a similar jump a few years back, and while the initial excitement was HUGE, there are a few things I wish I'd considered *before* pulling the trigger.

Specifically, think about the ongoing costs *after* Black Friday. Batteries, for example, are a big one. The Mavic 3 Pro batteries are significantly more expensive than the Air 2S batteries, and you'll likely want at least two or three. Also, consider the cost of ND filters. The Air 2S filters might not be compatible, so you're potentially looking at another investment there. Finally, think about DJI Care Refresh. It's almost essential for peace of mind, especially with a more expensive drone, and that's another recurring expense.

My personal experience: I upgraded for the improved camera and obstacle avoidance. The camera *is* incredible, no doubt, but I underestimated the battery cost. I went from comfortably carrying three Air 2S batteries to only being able to afford two for my upgrade at first. The extra flight time from the upgrade was negated by the limited batteries. It works out in the end, but I wish I factored that into the Black Friday budget.

So, while hunting those deals, factor in the cost of ownership, *after* the purchase. It'll help you decide if that Mavic 3 Pro deal is *really* the right move, or if maybe stocking up on Air 2S batteries and filters during Black Friday is a smarter play. Happy hunting, and feel free to ask if you have more questions!

Hey there! Seeing you plan for Black Friday 2025 already is kinda wild, but hey, I respect the dedication! Everyone's talking about deals and where to buy, which is important, but before you pull the trigger on that Mavic 3 Pro upgrade, let's talk about something *really* important that I haven't seen mentioned yet: **compatibility and fitment issues.**

I'm not talking about software glitches, but physical compatibility. The Mavic Air 2S and Mavic 3 Pro are totally different beasts, and that means things like ND filters, lens attachments, and even some accessories might not be a direct swap. For example, if you've invested in a set of high-quality ND filters for your Air 2S, chances are they won't fit the Mavic 3 Pro's camera. You'll be looking at a whole new set, which adds to the upgrade cost. Same goes for things like prop guards or landing gear extensions – double-check compatibility before assuming everything will just 'work'.

I learned this the hard way when I upgraded from a Phantom 3 to a Phantom 4 Pro a few years back. I *assumed* my battery charger would work... nope! Different voltage, almost fried my new batteries. Luckily, I caught it in time. So, before you get too hyped about the Black Friday savings, make a list of all your existing accessories and research whether they're compatible with the Mavic 3 Pro. Otherwise, you might end up spending even *more* than you planned. Just a little something to keep in mind!

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask if you have more questions!
