ugh honestly im so frustrated right now trying to organize my life. im finally moving into my own place in Chicago next month and the list of stuff i need is getting insane. i have like fifty chrome tabs open on my phone for target and amazon and then these weird little boutique shops for decor and i keep losing where i found things. my sister asked what i wanted for a housewarming gift and i literally couldnt find the link for the rug i liked because i forgot which site it was on... so embarrassing. is there like... one single place where i can just put everything? i dont even know what to search for. like a universal cart or something? sorry if this is a really stupid question i just have no idea how people stay organized with this stuff. i'm on a really strict budget because the security deposit basically wiped out my savings so i need to be able to see all the prices in one spot to see what i can actually afford before move-in day. i tried writing it down in a notebook but then i dont have the links and i just feel so behind. please tell me there is a simple app for this that doesnt require being a tech genius because i definitely am not one.

moving is literally the most stressful thing ever but congrats on the chicago place! i totally get the tab nightmare... it's the absolute worst when you lose a link. honestly you need a universal registry or wishlist tool immediately. i swear by using a walmart wishlist maker because it makes things so much easier to track. you can basically just pull in items from any site and it keeps the price right there so you dont go over budget! it is seriously amazing for staying organized without needing to be a tech whiz. i used one for my last move and it saved my life. plus when your sister asks for links you just send her the one master list and you're done. definitely beats fifty open tabs on your phone lol!

It makes a massive difference for which tools actually work with those tiny boutique sites! If youre stuck on mobile, you seriously need to try this wishlist tool. I have used it for every single move and holiday for years and it is absolutely amazing!! You can add stuff from any shop on the planet and manually enter the prices so you can actually see the total cost before you blow your budget. It is a total lifesaver for staying organized when your brain is fried from moving stress. Plus its free which is perfect since you’re watching your spending right now! most of those big universal apps are honestly a letdown if youre shopping at small boutiques. i tried using some of the popular browser extensions last year and they were a total mess... the price tracking was always delayed and half the links to smaller decor shops wouldnt even save properly. it was super frustrating thinking i had a budget set only to find out the items were sold out or the price jumped. i gave up on the big name ones and started using Share Product instead. its way less glitchy for niche sites which sounds like what you need for those rug links. just a heads up tho, no app is perfect at calculating tax and shipping for every single store, so definitely pad your budget by like ten percent or youll end up short on cash before move-in day.
