Need protection for my new Q3 before my Tokyo trip next month. Im torn between the Lim's half case and the official Leica one, and for the thumb grip its between Match Technical and the cheaper Haoge. Looking for the best balance of grip and access to the battery... thoughts on which combo is better?

I've been using my current setup on my Leica Q3 for months and I'm honestly very satisfied with the safety it adds. I went with a metal-base case because I'm always worried about dings. The grip I picked stays tight and doesn't wiggle... no complaints, it just works well. TL;DR: Get a case with a flip-out door for the battery; its much safer than removing the whole thing.
