Best external viewfinders and grips for the Leica M series?

I'm finding my M a bit tricky to handle with wider lenses like my 21mm. I’m torn between the official Leica accessories and third-party options like Voigtländer or Match Technical. Do those thumb grips really improve one-handed shooting without adding too much bulk? Which specific viewfinders or grips have you found most comfortable for daily use?

Jumping in here cuz honestly, some of these accessories are such a letdown after you drop five figures on a system. I had issues with the official Leica Handgrip M cuz it just adds massive bulk without actually making the camera feel balanced with a wide lens like the 21. Plus, taking it off every time you need to swap a battery or card is a total drag... really poor design for the price imo. If you want actual ergonomics without the weight, look at the Kamerakraft LM Grip V2.0. It includes an integrated Arca-Swiss plate and a tiny hidden storage spot for a spare SD card, which is way more practical than anything Leica sells. For the finder, I was disappointed by the distortion in the cheaper plastic options. The Zeiss 21mm ZM Viewfinder is the real winner here. Its significantly brighter than the Leica equivalent and has much clearer framelines, tho unfortunately it still makes the camera feel a bit top-heavy. In my experience, they definitely help with the 21mm balance, but safety is the biggest concern. I'd suggest just sticking with Leica gear or maybe anything from Voigtländer if ur worried about the fit. Those brands usually design things specifically to avoid metal-on-metal scratching.
