To add to the point above: I had issues with several budget options while searching for stability. Unfortunately, both the JJC TA-Q3 Metal Thumb Grip and the Haoge HG-Q3 Black Thumb Rest felt like compromises.JJC: Finish is okay but tolerances felt loose during one-handed use.Haoge: Ergonomics just arent as good as expected for quick dial access. Honestly disappointing when safety is compromised to hit a lower price point.

In my experience, the Match Technical Thumbs Up EP-SQ3 is definitely the way to go. I've tried many alternatives over the years and they always seem to block the rear dial or feel flimsy. This one is rock solid for one-handed street photography. It might be a tiny bit over your budget, but honestly, its the best middle ground between the cheap stuff and the crazy Leica price.
