Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am totally lost. I need to buy a new laptop for college by next month, but my budget is super tight, like under $500, and prices on Amazon keep jumping around.

I was thinking there must be a way to get alerts when the price drops, but my logic was just checking the page every hour which is exhausting and making me super anxious I'll miss a deal. I heard there are tools or browser extensions for this but I have no idea where to start or if they are safe to use. Are there any easy, free tools for this? I really don't want to mess this up...
