honestly im so over my current flash setup it literally just crapped out on me mid-shoot and i almost lost the client. the misfiring is getting ridiculous and my a7R IV deserves better than this cheap junk thats failing me. i have a huge outdoor portrait session in chicago next wednesday and i cannot have this happening again. im seriously stressed out. budget is around $600 max and i need something that wont overheat.
- needs high speed sync
- fast recycle time is a must
- reliable ttl
is the sony brand stuff actually worth the markup or is there a specific model that wont fail me? i just need something that works...

ive used the Godox V1-S Round Head Flash Sony and it works reliably for your budget.
- lithium battery prevents overheating
- recycle time is very fast
- hss works perfectly
