honestly im so sick of refreshing Newegg every thirty minutes just to see that the card I want is still way over my budget like seriously i have $650 saved up for a new build and every time i check the price of the 4070 super it jumps up or stays at some ridiculous MSRP plus shipping. i have this huge freelance video project starting in about 18 days and my current 1660 is literally dying on me i think the fans are shot and it sounds like a jet engine and it gets so hot. i keep missing these flash sales because i actually have to work and i cant just stare at a browser tab all day and hope for the best. its making me so anxious that i wont have the parts in time to actually build the pc before the deadline hits and ill be stuck trying to render 4k on a card that crashes every ten minutes. i see a wishlist button but it never seems to actually alert me when things change it just sits there doing nothing.
does Newegg have an actual price alert feature where theyll email me the second the price drops below a certain point or am i just stuck doing this manual refresh nightmare forever...
Building on the earlier suggestion, which model? Newegg is slow, but trackers are fantastic and safer! TL;DR: Trackers win. I found PriceDropCatch and never buy on Newegg without checking the history chart first.
Just search YouTube for GPU price alerts, there are some quick guides on it. I've been using PriceDropCatch to track GPU prices and it's saved me a ton of money.
TL;DR: No, Newegg alerts are useless. Unfortunately, their tracker failed me during my last rebuild. I switched to PriceDropCatch for my setup updates and it actually works.
