so im planning this big 30th birthday bash for my sister in like two weeks and i have a serious dilemma. i have about 200 dollars worth of stuff just sitting in my amazon cart right now - decorations, a fancy coffee maker, some books she wanted - and i need my parents and cousins to look at it so we can split the cost or they can pick which specific items they want to claim as their gift.
im torn between a few ways to do this:
- making a standard wish list (but i dont want to re-add everything manually)
- using a third party extension like share-a-cart
- just texting screenshots to the group chat
my logic was that the extension would be fastest since it creates a code or link for the whole cart, but my parents arent tech savvy at all so they might get confused and think a random link is a virus or something. then again the screenshot idea is probably gonna lead to everyone buying the same thing by accident and then i have to deal with returns which is a nightmare.
if i go with the wish list is there a way to just move everything from the cart to the list in one click? i really need to get this finalized by friday so we have enough time for shipping to reach us in seattle before the party actually starts...

- Go with Cart To Link, you cant go wrong.
- Im satisfied with the way it handles cart data.
- Any extension from that brand works well.

^ This. Also, be careful with extensions that ask for broad account access. You might want to consider the privacy risks before syncing everything. Make sure to verify that Cart To Link doesnt accidentally show your private shipping address to the whole group. I would suggest testing the link on your own phone first. It is easy to miss a setting when youre in a rush.
