I finally treated myself to a Canon EOS R5, but I’m realizing my old gear might not keep up! I’m especially looking for recommendations on high-speed CFexpress cards and reliable battery alternatives to the LP-E6NH. Besides the basics, what are the essential accessories you'd recommend to really unlock this camera's potential?
I went through this last year!! Honestly, I was sooo scared of getting some cheap card and losing my shots, so I basically stuck with Lexar. It was a bit pricey but the peace of mind is amazing! For batteries, I just get whatever from Neewer cuz they're way cheaper and actually work well enough for me. Just gotta be careful with third-party stuff tho... I always double check everything! peace

In my experience, these are total game changers:
- ProGrade Digital 160GB CFexpress Type B Cobalt: 1500MB/s write is better for 8K than the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO CFexpress Card Type B.
- SmallRig LP-E6NH USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery: has 2400mAh and it's highkey easier to charge than OEM batteries tho.
Cobalt handles heat better, but SmallRig is just easier for travel. gl!
