Yo! In my experience, the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 IS Macro STM is literally the perfect street lens. Its tiny, and the IS works sooo well with the R6 IBIS for handheld shots. But for portraits? You gotta save for the Canon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM. * 35mm: Great for the "everyday" street vibe
* 85mm: Sharpness is insane for portraits Both punch way above there weight class, right?

In my experience, ditching zooms for primes years ago basically changed everything! For your Canon, honestly, you know, just stick with native Canon glass. The high-speed communication between the mount and sensor for IBIS is actually magic!! 1. Go with the wider native prime first for everyday street.
