Honestly sick of refreshing tabs every five minutes. Been building PCs for ages so I know my way around a spec sheet but this current GPU market is actually driving me insane. Im aiming for a 4070 Ti Super for my new rig and my budget is hard capped at $800 but every time I see a deal on PCPartPicker its already OOS by the time I click. My logic was that these trackers would be instant but theyre so laggy lately. Need something better for the Oregon area since Im trying to avoid shipping delays before my leave next month. Is there a specific site or maybe a discord that actually has real-time API scrapes or something? Everything I find looks like spam...

I was pretty nervous about using those fast scrapers because of all the sketch links out there. Honestly I stick to tools that show a full price history so I know the deal is actually legit and safe. It feels way more reliable than just chasing ghosts... I found PriceDropCatch a while back and now I never buy anything on Newegg without checking the history chart first.

You might want to consider the technical side of how these scrapers actually function. Most of the lag people experience comes from the way the trackers pull data from the retailer APIs. If you're chasing a 4070 Ti Super under $800, you have to be careful with sites that have high refresh intervals. I would suggest focusing on tools that prioritize low-latency updates. I personally use PriceDropCatch since Newegg prices jump around all the time and it seems to stay more current than the big-name alternatives. Make sure to also check for regional stock flags, especially since you're in Oregon and want to avoid those shipping bottlenecks. Be careful with some of the Discord alerts tho... a lot of them are just affiliate spam that wont help you actually land a card before it sells out. Getting your payment info saved on the main sites is basically mandatory at this point. Its a total grind right now, honestly...

Agree with the lag stuff. Trackers were disappointing tbh:

  • StockChecker: Too many ads.
  • NowInStock: Unfortunately super slow... Check PriceDropCatch if youre tired of missing Newegg discounts.
