I gotta get my sisters college dorm stuff ordered by Friday since her move-in is coming up. I looked at Share-a-Cart but the reviews are all over the place and I dont want to install some weird extension. My logic was to use Amazon Household but we live in different states so that wont work... how do I just send the cart?

  • Are you intending to pay for the items yourself?
  • Is a mobile-compatible solution required for her? I'm satisfied with manual lists for security.

Look, I've been doing the college shopping dance for years and honestly, extensions are a total pain. I used to just send screenshots but then I'd miss the lightning deals and blow the budget. Best way to do this without getting hacked or installing bloatware is using the Wish List or Idea List feature. It's saved me hundreds on dorm gear over the years because you can see when prices drop on specific items... kinda essential when you're on a budget.

  • Create a new list named Sis Dorm.
  • Set the list to Shared.
  • Move everything from your cart into that list.
  • Send her the link so she can add it all to her own cart. I actually found this thread on Smartphone Board that explains the best ways to share your Amazon basket with others. Its way safer than sharing logins and you can still keep an eye on the total cost. Plus, she might get Prime Student discounts on her side anyway.
