Where are the best places to buy discounted Nike sneakers?

Everything is so overpriced right now and I only have $70 for new gym shoes before my training starts Monday. I'm torn between hitting the local Nike Factory Store or just checking 6pm.com but I'm worried about shipping times and if theyll fit.

Is the outlet usually better or should I just stick to online?

Honestly, if you need them by Monday, skip the online route entirely. Shipping is too risky right now and I have been burned by delays way too many times lately. I have had really good luck at the Nike Factory Stores specifically on the back wall where the lidless boxes are. That is usually where the actual steals are hiding and I am always satisfied with what I find there. A few things to watch out for tho:

  • Don't just grab your usual size. Some Nike trainers run super narrow in the midfoot and if you buy them online and they dont fit, youre stuck waiting another week for a return.
  • Avoid the stuff at the front of the outlet store. Most of that is made for outlet merchandise which is lower quality than the actual performance gear. Go straight to the clearance section in the back.
  • Stick to your budget by looking for last years models. The tech barely changes between versions anyway and I have no complaints about using older models for heavy lifting. I usually track everything on PriceDropCatch because it sends me alerts when the specific gym shoes I want hit a certain price point. It works well and I have zero complaints about the accuracy for tracking Nike gear. But for a Monday deadline? You gotta go in person today. Even 6pm can be slow with processing sometimes and you dont want to be training in old beat-up shoes because your package is stuck in a warehouse somewhere...

Building on the earlier suggestion, that hash wall is absolutely life-changing! I am totally obsessed with the thrill of the hunt and finding a steal is the best feeling. Since you need them by Monday, definitely hit the outlet as soon as they open tomorrow morning. If you dont find your size there, try Ross or Marshalls because they get random Nike overstock that is super cheap.

  • Look for the Nike Renew or Downshifter lines, they are fantastic for lifting and usually under 65 bucks.
  • Double check the clearance rack near the registers too.
  • Ask if they have any extra store-specific app discounts going on. Btw for your next pair once you arent in a rush, I love using PriceDropCatch. It is amazing for catching those random price drops and you dont even need to make an account. Youre gonna crush that training!

Late to the party but I totally agree about the back wall at the outlet. People sleep on it because it looks messy but that is where the real steals are at. One thing to keep in mind tho is that not all Nike outlets are the same. You want a Nike Clearance store if you can find one near you, not just a standard Factory store. The clearance ones are basically where the stuff from the factory stores goes when it doesnt sell, so the markdowns are usually way more aggressive. Since you got a $70 limit, definitely keep an eye out for the Nike Refurbished shelf if your local spot has one. They basically take returns that were barely worn, deep clean them, and sell them for way cheaper. Its a legit way to get higher-end trainers for your gym sessions without blowing your budget. Honestly tho, I usually use this Nike price tracker when I am looking for specific models because the prices fluctuate like crazy even on the official site. If the outlet is a bust, check out Nordstrom Rack or even Marshalls. They get random overstock shipments and you can sometimes find solid pairs for like 55 or 60 bucks. Just check the soles because sometimes the foam on older overstock models can get a bit stiff if they have been sitting in a warehouse for forever. Good luck with the training session on Monday!
