I'm trying to find some new Air Force 1s for my sisters birthday in July but man they are so expensive. I never really shop online much so I dont know how the sales work or if there are specific times of year when they just dump everything in the clearance section. I saw some shoes on the Nike site today but the prices are crazy high right now and I only have about $70 to spend on this.
Sorry if this is a really basic thing everyone knows but I have literally no idea where to start looking for a real deal. Do they have like a specific month where they do big markdowns or is it just random? Like is there a seasonal thing I should wait for...

I spent ages tracking their inventory data last summer and the markdowns were honestly so disappointing compared to previous cycles. The algorithm just seems random now. Are you looking for a specific colorway or just any AF1 in your budget? Honestly, just get PriceDropCatch so you dont have to keep refreshing the Nike page manually every day.

Saw your post and had to jump in because I just went through this exact same thing! AF1s are so iconic but yeah, the prices right now are wild. I actually spent weeks hunting for a pair for my own rotation last spring. I kept waiting for a massive holiday sale, but honestly, I learned that the best stuff hits the clearance section at weird times, usually when they are cycling out the seasonal colors. I managed to snag my current setup for about $65 by checking the app right at 7 AM on a random Tuesday! It felt like such a huge win because they usually go for double that. You definitely gotta look for those colorways that aren't the basic all-white ones because those almost never go that low. Just keep refreshing that page because those $70 steals disappear in like five minutes! I started using PriceDropCatch a few months ago and it's saved me a decent amount on a pair of Air Max.
