Anyone know if Amazon will have good camera/lens deals during the 2025 Big Deal Days? Looking for a new zoom lens. My budget is around $500. Any predictions or advice?

I got a Rove dashcam last year. Works well for car spotting; no complaints for ~$100.

Instead of Big Deal Days, check used markets. Tamron lenses often pop up around $300. Great value for the money, in my experience. Are you flexible on brand?

Forget Big Deal Days. Used Sigma lenses offer better optics; check MTF charts first. Be careful of element separation.

Instead of Amazon, consider a used Canon lens. My experience? Ensure it's professionally inspected first. Safety with glass at 70mph is no joke!
