I'm planning to grab the DJI Flip this holiday season and wondering if anyone's seen leaked deals for Black Friday or Cyber Monday 2025? Also, do third-party retailers like Best Buy or Amazon typically offer better prices than DJI's direct store? Any insights would be appreciated!

You can get up to $160 off on DJI Flip at Amazon, B&H PHOTO Video.

@Reply #10 - good point! Honestly tho, I kinda disagree with the idea of waiting purely for a Black Friday price drop on the base unit. I am such a huge fan of this drone and from my experience, the real deal is always in the bundles rather than a tiny price cut on the box. Here is why I think you should reconsider the wait:

  • The DJI Flip Fly More Combo is basically always a better value than buying the drone solo. You get those extra batteries and the charging hub which you are 100% gonna need anyway. Trust me, 31 minutes goes by way faster than you think!
  • Look into store-specific credit cards. Some places have cards that cover the sales tax or give you immediate cash back. That alone usually beats any 5% or 10% holiday discount you might find later.
  • Honestly, you lose months of prime flying weather just to maybe save fifty bucks. The memories and practice you get now are worth way more than the discount imo. I snagged mine early and having those extra batteries from the start was a total game changer for my landscape shots. If you are gonna spend the money anyway, just go for it and start having fun! The Flip is amazing and you will love it.

You can set price alert at WhenPriceDrop.com, they will alert you when price dropped.

DJI Flip deals are available at Amazon.

> Choose Neo for casual photography on a budget, or Flip for higher quality and longer flights. I totally agree with that - if you can swing the extra cost, the Flip seems like a much better long-term investment for the better sensor alone. But I'm curious, what are you actually planning to shoot with it? Like, are you doing fast-moving action stuff or just chill landscape shots? I'm still pretty new to the DJI world myself, and one thing I've noticed is that the "deals" can be a bit tricky. Sometimes the best price is on the standalone unit, but then you realize you *really* need those extra batteries for the longer flight times. Are you looking for just the drone or are you hoping to find a bundle deal on the Fly More combo? I found that for me, the extra batteries were basically a must-have once I actually got out there in the field! Honestly, it's pretty easy to get caught up in the base price and forget about the extras.

Which one is better? DJI Flip or DJI NEO?

Both are great beginner drones, but they serve different purposes. The Neo starts at under $200 while the Flip is more than double the price at $439. The Flip offers 31 minutes flight time vs Neo's 18 minutes. Flip has a superior 1/1.3-inch sensor with 48MP stills and 4K/60fps video, while Neo has a 1/2-inch sensor with 12MP photos and 4K/30fps. Choose Neo for casual photography on a budget, or Flip for higher quality and longer flights.

Hey there! Planning that far ahead for Black Friday? I love the dedication! Honestly, from what I've seen with DJI products, especially newer ones, the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals aren't usually HUGE right after launch. They might knock off like 5-10%, but nothing crazy.

My strategy? Keep an eye on DJI's Refurbished section. I snagged a Mavic Air 2S there a few months after it came out for a *steal*! It was practically brand new and saved me a ton. Also, sign up for DJI's email list; they sometimes have exclusive deals that aren't advertised publicly. Different retailers *can* have slightly different deals, but it's usually within a small margin. I'd focus more on checking DJI directly and the refurb section. Hope this helps, and good luck with your Flip hunt next year!

Hey! I think there's another angle to consider. Instead of *just* waiting for Black Friday, keep an eye on DJI's Refurbished section. Over the years, I've snagged some fantastic deals there, sometimes even better than Black Friday discounts, especially on stuff that's only a few months old. Also, check out eBay; sometimes you'll find lightly used DJI Flips there from people who just weren't feeling it. You might get lucky! Just make sure to check seller ratings and return policies, of course. Good luck!

Hey! I totally get wanting a Flip! Instead of focusing *just* on Black Friday itself, I'd seriously suggest setting up price alerts. Sites like CamelCamelCamel (for Amazon) can track prices and notify you of drops. DJI might not do huge discounts, but smaller, random sales happen. Also, consider buying used or open-box! You can often find near-mint condition Flips that way. Good luck, and happy flying!

Hey! I totally get wanting a Flip, but I'd also suggest thinking about safety. Honestly, with newer tech, sometimes there can be unexpected glitches, you know? I had issues with a new drone last year, and it wasn't as good as expected. Maybe wait a bit after release and see what the reviews say about reliability *before* chasing a Black Friday deal? Just my two cents – safety first! Hope this helps!
