Best camera bag recommendations for carrying a Fujifilm X-series system?

I’ve recently fully committed to the Fujifilm ecosystem after switching from a heavy DSLR setup, and I’m absolutely loving the portability of my new X-T5. However, I’m really struggling to find the perfect bag that matches the compact nature of the X-series. My old gear bags are just way too bulky, and it feels like my smaller primes are just rattling around in there without much protection.

I’m looking for something that strikes a balance between style and functionality. Since Fujifilm has that classic, tactile aesthetic, I’d love a bag that doesn't look like a generic, oversized black nylon slab. I usually head out with my X-T5 and the 35mm f/2 'Fujicron' attached, but I also like to carry a 23mm prime and occasionally my 50-140mm zoom for more range.

I’ve been eyeing the Peak Design Everyday Slings and some Billingham canvas options, but I’m torn. One feels very technical while the other is beautiful but quite pricey. I really need something weather-resistant for street photography that won't scream 'expensive camera' to everyone walking by.

For those of you running a similar Fuji setup, what are you using to carry your gear comfortably for a full day of shooting? Do you have a favorite sling or small messenger that fits these specific bodies and lenses perfectly?

Hey, so if Billingham is too pricey, you should definately look at the Think Tank Retrospective 7 V2.0 Shoulder Bag. It’s got that classic canvas vibe that matches the X-T5 perfectly but it’s way more lowkey and doesn’t scream 'expensive camera' to everyone walking by. It's pretty durable and honestly a steal for the price compared to the high-end heritage stuff. The 50-140mm is the tricky part cuz it's a long lens, so maybe check out the Tenba DNA 11 Slim Messenger Bag too. It’s a solid value option with great weatherproofing that fits that 'pro' zoom way better than a tiny sling while still looking casual... basically just a normal bag. It works great for a full day of shooting without killing your shoulder! Good luck!!

Been thinking about ur setup and honestly, that 50-140mm changes the math quite a bit. I've been shooting Fuji for years, and while the X-T5 is tiny, that zoom is a pro-grade beast that requires serious structural support to avoid putting too much stress on the lens mount or ur shoulder. Before I dive into technical advice, I gotta ask: are you planning on wearing this for like 8+ hours straight on street walks, or is it more for quick transitions? Also, since ur worried about weather and security, how much of a priority is "quick-draw" access versus total seal protection? In my experience, most "discreet" bags sacrifice padding density to look slim, which is a major risk when ur carrying glass that heavy alongside those small primes. Just wanna make sure I'm recommending something that actually protects the gear properly without killing ur back... that zoom is a literal anchor compared to the 35mm lol. lmk!
