I just got an X100V, but it feels a bit slippery during street shoots. I am looking for a grip that adds security without ruining the slim profile. Are you guys using thumb grips or full baseplate grips? Also, any recommendations for a low-profile wrist strap? What setup provides the best balance of comfort and style?

Had a moment to think about this and for your situation, I would suggest looking at some budget-friendly alternatives that dont compromise on quality. Honestly, you dont need to drop a ton of cash to fix the slipperiness. I have been using the JJC HG-X100V Metal Hand Grip which runs around $40. It adds just enough depth for a solid hold without making the camera feel bulky, and it even has a built-in Arca-Swiss plate. If you want something even more minimal, the Haoge THB-X2B Metal Hot Shoe Thumb Up Grip is a steal at about $15. It fits the X100V like a glove and keeps the slim profile youre after. For a strap, I am realy satisfied with the VKO Black Soft Cotton Camera Wrist Strap. It costs like $10 and is super soft. Basically, you get a full secure setup for under $65 and it feels SO much better. Cheers!

Been thinking about your setup, and ngl, the X100V is pretty slippery. Here's what I've tried:
- SmallRig L-Shape Grip for FUJIFILM X100V 2734 vs Lensmate Fujifilm X100V Thumb Grip
- SmallRig adds leverage for one-handed shooting, while the thumb grip basically stays slimmer but can crowd the back dial.
- Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap CF-AS-3
- Super secure. Honestly, the SmallRig is the BEST value... no complaints!

In my experience, you gotta be cautious with that sleek body. I added a thumb grip to my setup for safety... basically prevents drops and doesnt ruin the profile, honestly.
