Hello, I'm planning to use it with Olympus PEN-F and need a battery recommendation. What would you take?

I've had DJI OM 6 on my Olympus PEN-F for roughly 5 months. From my testing, it has good quality, on top of that matches Olympus PEN-F's style. Works exactly as expected.

Just installed DJI RS 3 Mini on my Olympus PEN-F (latest update). In my experience, great value for the money, additionally compatible with Olympus PEN-F without any issues. Doesn't disappoint at all.

Are you prioritizing price, quality, or features for your Olympus PEN-F?

Got DJI RS 3 Mini installed on my Olympus PEN-F (latest update). For me, it's practical, on top of that works great with Olympus PEN-F. Overall pretty satisfied with it.

Picked FeiyuTech G6 Max for my Olympus PEN-F and. In my testing, it has good quality, plus complements Olympus PEN-F nicely. Very happy with the choice.

Honestly, looking through all these suggestions, people have brought up everything from gimbals to lenses, so it's basically a lot to take in! Like *Regina306* mentioned, weight is a big factor for the PEN-F since it's such a small body. Basically, after reading what everyone's shared about their setups, I think the safest route is to just get any battery from the official manufacturer. I'm still pretty new to the M4/3 world, but I've found you can't really go wrong with the name-brand stuff for reliability. It’s better than risking it with a random cheap one that might swell up or something, you know? Just stick to the camera brand and you'll be pretty much fine.

> What would you take? Man, the battery situation for my Olympus PEN-F has been such a headache lately. I actually had issues with some cheap third-party ones I picked up last year thinking I was getting a bargain. Big mistake. Unfortunately, they started swelling after only a few months of use. One of them got so stuck I had to carefully pry it out with a thin tool... nearly had a heart attack. Everything about them was just not as good as expected. The capacity was a total lie and theyd die without warning even when showing two bars. I learned the hard way that saving twenty bucks isnt worth risking a beautiful camera. My current setup is much more reliable now that I stick to the official ones or very high-end alternatives. Dont make the same mistake I did, honestly.

Have you considered the weight? Some battery options are lighter for Olympus PEN-F.

What's most important to you - portability, performance, or price for Olympus PEN-F?
