Anyone know when Nikon usually announces their Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals? Specifically interested in Z series lenses. Hoping to snag something good this year. What kind of discounts did you see in the past?

Thanks.

Forget waiting! I grabbed a used Nikon Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S last year for $1400. Image quality is insane! Check KEH or MPB now; might find a steal before the Black Friday rush.

Great deal. When will Z9 Mark II released?

100% agree

Instead of waiting, maybe check used Z lenses? I've saved tons fixing my cars DIY. Plenty of reputable sellers; might find a steal and stay under $1500!

Don't cheap out on camera gear. Consider used, reliable Sony lenses instead for safer shooting.

Nice, didn't know that

Instead of chasing Nikon sales, consider adapting older F-mount lenses. The FTZ adapter ($250-ish) opens up a world of affordable, high-quality glass. Many older Nikkors are optically superb, and you can find amazing deals. Just check compatibility charts – some require manual focusing. Might save you a bundle!

Forget waiting for Black Friday. In my experience, used Z series lenses offer way better value year-round. Check reputable sellers; you can often find near-mint condition lenses for significantly less. I snagged a fantastic 24-70mm last year for almost half the new price. Patience pays off! Also, consider grey market – just double-check the warranty specifics.

Instead of chasing deals, I'd suggest buying used. My Z lens from 2020 still performs like new and saved me $500. Just inspect it carefully before buying!

Hey! Up here in Alaska, Nikon deals hit around mid-November, coinciding with the pre-snowbird rush. I've noticed over the years, the Z lenses discounts aren't huge, maybe 10-15% tops. Given the extreme temps, better to spend that money on a solid Pelican case for your gear. Keeps the condensation at bay when you're shooting the aurora!

Black Friday Nikon deals are tough to predict. Honestly, their lens quality hasn't been as consistent as I'd hoped lately. Market research shows they're consistently topping charts for sharpness and reliability. Just a thought, based on years of personal (and sometimes disappointing) experience!

Deals are great, but remember to budget for sensor cleaning! Neglecting that can ruin any lens, no matter how good the Black Friday price. I use VisibleDust swabs (724 sensor size, I think?). Works well for my Z50. Happy shooting! Any tips on cleaning the Z glass itself?
