You can get Nikon Z5 body for $999 (Amazon/B&H Photo Video) at this Black Friday/Cyber Monday season. $400 off than regular price.
Maybe Z5 Mark II is coming?

To add to the point above: i have to respectfully disagree with anyone leaning toward the R8 over this deal! I spent a week testing my friend's Canon EOS R8 Body and while the autofocus is snappy, it just felt a bit like a toy in my hands. I took my Nikon Z5 Body out on a freezing hike in the Cascades last winter and the weather sealing is the real deal... no way I'd trust the Canon in those conditions. For me, the Z5 wins on the technical side every time:
- Dual SD slots for instant backup (essential for weddings or travel!)
- In-body image stabilization so I can shoot sharp at crazy low shutter speeds
- Massive battery that actually lasts a full day of shooting
- A high-res EVF that doesnt hurt my eyes after an hour If you're doing heavy video the Canon might win, but for pure photography? The Z5 is just more of a pro-level tool. I usually stick my Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S on it and the results are just stunning. For a thousand bucks, its basically robbery!
