Any recommendations for a sharp landscape lens for Nikon Z7 II?

I am so over my current setup honestly. I've been using the old F-mount 24-120 with the adapter on my Z7 II and the corners are just total mush. It's driving me crazy because I spent all this money on a high res body just for the images to look soft when I zoom in.

I have a big trip to Zion National Park next week and I cannot deal with these blurry edges anymore. I need something actually sharp that can handle the 45mp sensor properly. Budget is around 1500 bucks maybe a bit more if it's really worth it. Should I just get the 14-24mm S or is there a prime that blows it away for landscapes? I'm honestly desperate here...

Saw this earlier... sadly Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S had issues. Check Photography Life.

Unfortunately, I found most primes too restrictive for Zion, tho the zooms had issues too.

  • Do you use screw-in filters?
  • Need weather sealing? High res is brutal.
