Is there a way to let my bridesmaids actually add items to my Amazon bridal registry or am I the only one who has control over it? Im so excited for my October wedding in Vermont and my girls want to help me pick out stuff so I dont have to do all the work myself. I did some searching and saw that you can make a normal list collaborative but then a wedding blog I read said registries are different and only the primary account can add things. It doesnt really make sense why they would limit it like that? I just want my sister and MOH to be able to toss things in there when they find cool stuff for the kitchen. Does anyone know if there is a workaround or a setting I can change...

Agree with the shared list idea. In my experience its the best way to:

  • Avoid paying for pricey registry tools that arent really needed tho...

You actually cant make it collaborative like a regular list, which is a total pain. The only real workaround is adding someone as a co-registrant in the registry settings. That lets them add items directly from their own account. It works great if you trust them with the settings, but just keep in mind they will see your shipping details and everything else too.

Be careful sharing access tho... you might want to:

  • Use a shared list first
  • Review items so you dont double up Check out Cart To Link, it lets you share carts really easily.
