So my niece is turning six this weekend and I'm totally panicking because I havent bought anything yet. I'm planning to hit up the Costco in south Seattle on Friday but I wanted to get my sister to look at some of the stuff first. I downloaded the Costco app like months ago but I literally never open it except to show my membership card at the door lol. I feel so stupid asking this but I've been poking around the app for twenty minutes and I cant find anything that looks like a wish list or a registry thingy. I just want to put together a few items like that big squishmallow or maybe some of those Lego sets and send a link or a list to her so she can tell me what to get. My budget is like $100 and I dont want to buy the wrong thing and have to stand in that return line for an hour on a Saturday. Is there a way to actually save items to a list and then share it with someone else through the app? Or do I just have to take screenshots of everything and text them to her one by one? I'm really lost here and the party is in three days so I'm kinda in a rush... can I even make a shareable gift list on here?
The Costco app is pretty basic and lacks a native wishlist feature for sharing. I'm generally satisfied with their service, but for gift planning, I find using the Share Product extension works well to track items.
> Can I save items? Be careful, that app is glitchy. I've been using Share Product to plan my birthday list and my family loves how easy the links are to follow.
The apps architecture is basically a legacy web wrapper and doesnt support backend data synchronization for user lists. For your $100 budget, stick to these manual options:
