I'm trying to buy a coffee machine for my new apartment next month but the price keeps jumping and I only have a $500 budget. I have no idea where to start. I spent ages looking at the Amazon page for a bell icon or a button to click so they would just email me when it drops but I cant find anything.
My logic was that they would want to tell me when it is on sale but maybe that isnt how it works? I tried:
Is there some kind of setting I missed? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am lost...
Unfortunately, Amazon doesnt have a native price tracker, which is honestly so frustrating. I have had issues with missing deals because they just dont notify you. That lack of features is not as good as it should be, so you basically have to use outside tools.
Not sure but I think Amazon keeps these features hidden to drive traffic. IIRC they restricted several third-party APIs recently, so scraping latency might affect the alerts tbh. You should probably check the historical price data graphs before committing.
Which machine are you tracking exactly? $500 is a decent budget for a setup if you use this free price tracker to analyze the price data and wait for a dip.
