Is there a guide for splitting payments on Amazon group orders?

I've been using Amazon Business and regular shareable carts for years to coordinate office buys, but I'm in a huge rush today. I'm organizing a coworker's farewell gift bundle (budget is about $300, need it by Friday) and set up a group order link. Everyone added their items, but now I can't find any option to let people pay for their own share at checkout. It's forcing me to pay the whole balance on my card.

Did Amazon change their checkout flow for group carts recently? I swear there used to be a way to split the bill. Is there a workaround or a guide for this?

Yeah, Amazon dont allow direct payment splitting. I had this exact issue last month for a family gift. Here is what worked for me:

  • Paid the full amount to secure the shipping.
  • Used Venmo to collect the cash. I looked up how can I share amazon cart to set up my current workaround, and it works well. No complaints.
