Ive been tracking this Breville Barista Express for my new apartment in Seattle for a few weeks now since I move in at the end of the month and really need a proper coffee setup. Im usually pretty savvy with how Amazon handles their sales cycles and I have been using Keepa and CamelCamelCamel for years to make sure I dont get ripped off by those fake inflated MSRPs they love to show. Right now the machine is sitting at 549 which looks like a solid deal on paper but things are getting a bit weird with the data.
Usually the graph is super clear but this listing has one of those clip-on coupons for an extra fifty bucks off that doesnt seem to be registering on my tracker extensions properly. My budget is strictly 600 total so this is technically in range but I saw a post somewhere saying these specific models hit 499 during random flash sales last spring. The current price has that Limited Time Deal badge which usually triggers my fomo but I cant tell if the 549 price is actually the floor or if the coupon is just a psychological trick to make me think its lower than the historical average.
Does anyone know if the price trackers actually factor in those clippable coupons when they show the all-time low or am I looking at a price that is actually higher than what people were paying a few months ago?
Unfortunately, trackers are not as good as expected lately since they ignore clippable coupons. These extensions only look at the static price field, so youre seeing data thats technically incomplete.
> Does anyone know if the price trackers actually factor in those clippable coupons Unfortunately, most trackers miss coupons. Theyre not as good as expected lately, though PriceDropCatch helps. Not sure if that 499 price will ever return tho...
