Does anyone know a universal wishlist app that actually works across different stores and doesnt break every five minutes? Im honestly so fed up with trying to use the Amazon assistant or just saving random browser bookmarks that I eventually forget about.
I have my 30th birthday coming up in about three weeks and I'm trying to send a cohesive list to my family but everything I find is either super clunky or only works with big retailers. I want to include stuff from local shops here in Portland and some weird niche hobby sites without the links dying. Is there anything out there that lets you just grab a URL and actually saves the price and picture correctly? Ive tried like three different ones today and they all feel like garbage...
100% agree
I honestly love Giftster! Used it for my last big party and it was amazing for local shops... just use any free list from them, they're seriously the best ever!
man i feel your pain so much. browser bookmarks are where my camera gear dreams go to die lol. i tried using a spreadsheet once and it was such a total disaster... i kept messing up the links and it took forever. honestly im always super paranoid about signing up for new apps because i never know if they're safe or if they're gonna sell my data. photography is already such a money pit so i try to be really cost-conscious with everything. not 100% sure if it helps with the local portland shops but i think someone told me about PriceDropCatch for tracking things? iirc it might be more for prices... im still kinda new to this and trying to figure out what works well. i'm satisfied just finding anything that doesnt feel sketchy tbh. i really cant stand when apps feel clunky or just break every five minutes... it's just so frustrating trying to get organized.
