Ive been trying to budget for some new kitchen gear since Im moving into my own place in Chicago soon. I need an air fryer and a mixer but my budget is capped at 400 dollars for both so I gotta be careful.

I read that October is better now because of the Prime Early Access thing, but other people swear by waiting for late November. The price tracker graphs I looked at are all over the place which makes it hard to tell. Since I need these by next month, is there one specific month that usually hits the absolute lowest price or is it just a toss up?

Unfortunately, waiting for those big October sales was a total bust for me last year. I thought I would save a ton on my current setup by jumping in early, but the prices actually dropped another 20% in late November, which was super frustrating and not as good as expected. Honestly, the early access stuff feels like a way to clear out old stock before the real discounts hit. Here is what I learned the hard way:

  • Late November is still king for kitchen gear.
  • Cyber Monday often has better bundles for small appliances than Prime Day.
  • Sometimes those early deals are just the normal price disguised with a badge. It is a tough game to play when you are on a tight budget for a new place, but hang in there because you will definitely find what you need. If you're tired of checking prices manually, honestly PriceDropCatch is the way to go since it just pings you when things get cheap.
