My birthdays coming up on the 15th and friends keep asking for ideas and I am stressing out. I looked at Elfster but it feels kinda overkill for just a birthday. Amazon lists are okay but I want stuff from local shops too.

Whats the easiest way to share a list that actually works for everything?

Last year for my 30th I was in the same boat. I really wanted stuff from this local bookstore and a ceramic shop downtown, but putting those on an Amazon list is just impossible. I tried texting people links but it became a huge mess and people ended up buying the same stuff. I eventually tried out Giftful because it lets you add items from literally any URL. It worked well for me because I could just use this Chrome extension to save items while I was browsing different local shops online. It basically acts like a bookmarking tool for gifts. It didnt cost anything and kept things organized without all that Elfster clutter. It is a decent option if you want to keep everything in one spot. TLDR: Use a universal registry like Giftful. It handles random website links better than Amazon and prevents double-buying.
