Which wishlist apps are actually supporting the most online retailers right now in 2026 without constantly breaking?

I have been doing some digging because I am trying to put together a wedding registry for my ceremony next April and honestly it is way harder than it should be. We are looking for stuff from all over the place like niche ceramics from Etsy, some specific tools from smaller hardware sites, and even some international shops in the UK since we live in Boston and want a mix of local and imported vibes.

I read online that GiftHero was supposed to be the best for this but when I tried their extension yesterday it wouldnt even pull the photo from three different shops I tried. Then I saw people recommending WishUpon but their mobile app feels super clunky and half the time the price doesnt update if the item goes on sale. I am kinda confused why these apps are struggling so much with Shopify-based stores lately. Is it just me or is the tech getting worse because of all the site security updates or something?

I really need something that can handle:

  • random boutique sites that dont have official integrations
  • price tracking that actually stays current
  • easy sharing for my older relatives who arent super tech savvy

Is there anything out there that just works across the board in 2026 or am I stuck manually entering data like its 2010...

Ngl, I've had such a rough time with these apps lately. Last month I tried setting up a housewarming list and half the niche links wouldn't even load properly. It feels like tech is moving backward sometimes...

  • stick to apps with manual override
  • avoid ones that force login
  • test links on mobile first Actually, I just use Share Product for this—it's way easier than having ten different tabs open for every store.

To add to the point above: I have been through the ringer with these apps over the years. Most struggle because shops keep updating security.

  • Just use Giftster, honestly you cant go wrong with them.
  • Their browser extension handles international shops way better than others. It saved my sanity when I was sourcing stuff from tiny boutique sites last year... it even grabbed items from a Japanese pottery site no problem.

Tbh, over the years I've found Share Product is the most reliable for catching sales on those niche sites without the app constantly breaking on me.
