What are the must-have accessories for a new Canon EOS R5?

So I finally pulled the trigger on an R5 after shooting with a 5D Mark IV for like seven years. I love the thing so far but man the transition to the RF system is more of a headache than I thought it would be. I've got this trip to Glacier National Park coming up in about three weeks and I'm starting to realize my old stash of LP-E6 batteries isnt gonna cut it if I want the high speed drive modes. Apparently you need the NH versions to even get the full 12fps? And dont even get me started on the storage. I saw the prices for CFexpress Type B cards and nearly choked. I have a budget of maybe another $800 to get this rig fully field-ready before my flight. I'm mainly doing landscape and some wildlife stuff so I'm worried about weather sealing and maybe an L-bracket since the body feels a bit different in hand compared to my old DSLR. Aside from the obvious cards and batteries what are you guys actually using day-to-day that makes life easier? Are there specific screen protectors that dont mess with the touch sensitivity or maybe a better strap since the one in the box is kinda trash? Just trying to make sure I dont miss something obvious before I'm out in the middle of nowhere...

Congrats on the R5! Honestly its such an amazing jump from the 5D but I totally get the sticker shock on those cards... its wild. Since you're on a budget for Glacier, definitely look at the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Silver Series 256GB to save some cash. Its super reliable and handles wildlife bursts just fine! For the L-bracket, if you dont wanna drop a fortune, the SmallRig L-Bracket for Canon EOS R5 2976 is a total steal and feels rock solid. I was so worried about scratching the body but this thing makes it feel super secure. Also, definitely grab the Peak Design Slide Camera Strap Black cuz the stock one is basically sandpaper on your neck lol. You're gonna have a blast out there! Just make sure to snag one Canon LP-E6NH Lithium-Ion Battery so you actually get those fast frame rates for the bears!

Re: "i caught this late but wanted to chime..." - the Canon EOS R5 power management is definitely a step up from the 5D but man that 2130mAh rating on the new cells feels like it vanishes so fast when you have the EVF set to 120fps refresh. honestly tho talking about Glacier just reminds me of the absolute nightmare i had with a rental suv there last summer. it was supposed to be a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD for some of the backroads but the transmission was slipping the whole time. i spent more time worrying about the torque converter specs and the gear ratios than the 45 megapixel sensor lol. we ended up stuck behind this massive tour bus for like two hours near Lake McDonald and i just sat there reading the car manual instead of shooting. anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there
