I'm on the hunt for some awesome Black Friday deals on mirrorless cameras for 2024. My boyfriend and I are planning a big travel adventure next year, and we want to document our journey through photos and vlogs. We're both photography students, so we're looking for something that'll help us study and improve our skills while on the road.
Any recommendations for a versatile mirrorless camera that's great for both still photography and vlogging? We'd love something compact but powerful, with good low-light performance and stabilization for those on-the-go shots.

I've been rockin' the Sony Alpha 7 IV for over two years now and honestly, no complaints. Since you're photography students, you'll love the 33MP sensor... it gives you way more room to crop your stills than the standard 24MP sensors. I took it on a month-long trip through Southeast Asia and the IBIS was a lifesaver for those handheld street shots at night. The 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording is basically a must-have if you want to practice professional color grading on your vlogs. Usually, Black Friday is the only time you'll see this body drop below 2,200 bucks. I'm really satisfied with how the autofocus handles low light too, it just sticks to eyes like glue even in dimly lit cafes. You should definitely look for a kit deal with the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS Lens because that constant aperture is so much better for video than the cheaper variable zoom lenses. It's been my daily driver for a long time and it just works well every time.
