Hey adventure seekers! With Black Friday coming up, I'm eyeing the new GoPro HERO 13 Black that dropped this fall. Anyone know what kind of deals we might expect this year? Last year's discounts were decent, but I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger now or wait for the holiday sales.
I'm particularly interested in the HERO 13 Black since I'm planning some major travel in 2025 and need a reliable action camera. The 360 camera features look insane, but that price tag is pretty steep at regular retail.
Has anyone spotted any early Black Friday deals yet? I've been checking Amazon and Best Buy, but nothing substantial so far. Also curious if anyone who grabbed deals last year could share what kind of discounts they got?
Bonus question: For those who already have the HERO 13 Black, how's it holding up for travel? Is it worth the upgrade from older models?

Tbh I am in the same boat right now!! Just catching up on the thread and honestly it is so stressful trying to find the perfect deal. Being super stoked for this camera is one thing, but there is also this massive fear of making a compatibility mistake... One thing that makes me nervous is the new battery and mounting system. Some folks have mentioned that older mounts might not be 100% stable with the new magnetic setup, and that would be a total nightmare if it fell off during a trip! Definitely watch out for those random bundles on auction sites too, because cheap third-party batteries can legit fry your device. Safety and reliability are everything for travel!! Really hope we both score a legit deal soon.
