Hey everyone — I’m trying to find a solid backpack for my DJI Air 2S and I’m getting a little overwhelmed by all the “camera/drone” bag options.

Right now I’m using the stock shoulder bag, and it’s fine for quick trips, but it’s not great when I’m walking around for a few hours or traveling. I’d love a backpack that can comfortably fit the Air 2S (preferably in the Fly More setup), the RC-N1 controller, at least 3 batteries, charger/hub, spare props, and a few small accessories like ND filters and cables. Bonus if it has room for a compact tripod or landing pad and still doesn’t feel bulky.

I’m also worried about protection—something with decent padding and compartments so things aren’t bouncing around, plus weather resistance for light rain would be nice. Not trying to spend a fortune, but I’d rather buy once than upgrade later.

What backpacks have you used with the DJI Air 2S that actually fit everything well and are comfortable to carry?

Hmm, I’ve had a different experience than “just buy a camera backpack.” I get why people recommend them, but for the Air 2S Fly More kit specifically, a good drone-focused pack is actually less annoying day-to-day… fewer wasted dividers, less Tetris, and the controller/battery shapes don’t flop around.

I’ve been hauling DJI rigs for years (Mavic 2 era through Air 2S/3), and the best “buy once” budget-ish option I’ve used is the Lykus Titan Drone Backpack (DJI Mavic/Air series) — it’s not fancy, but the padding is legit and the compartments are sized for drone stuff (RC-N1, hub, 3+ batteries, props/filters). It also carries surprisingly well for long walks because the load sits close to your back.

If you want something more travel-friendly and less “tactical,” check Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250 Backpack (yeah it’s still Lowepro, but it’s their drone line, not a generic camera bag). Fits Air 2S Fly More cleanly, and you can strap a compact tripod/landing pad externally.

Lesson learned: prioritize internal fit + weight distribution over brand. A bag that’s “camera” perfect can still bounce your batteries around if the dividers aren’t tight. Also toss a cheap rain cover in the front pocket and you’re basically set. gl!

In my experience, you’ll be way happier with a *real* camera backpack from Lowepro or Peak Design (or even Manfrotto). I’ve tried many “drone-specific” bags over the years and a lot of them are kinda gimmicky… camera packs usually have better harness comfort + smarter dividers.

Look for adjustable padded dividers (so the Air 2S and RC-N1 don’t knock around), a separate battery/charger pocket, and an external strap system for a small tripod/landing pad. Also check for a rain cover or coated fabric—light rain is fine, but zippers are the weak spot. Honestly, a slightly bigger bag beats a tight squeeze every time lol. good luck!

Seconding the Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250 rec — it’s one of the few “drone-first” packs that actually fits the Air 2S Fly More shapes without weird dead space. Been thinking about this and yeah, key things to check:
- Rigid-ish divider walls (stops battery/hub bounce)
- Stiff base + rain cover (light rain = fine)
- External tripod straps that dont sag
If you want a more camera-bag vibe, i’d also look at Lowepro ProTactic BP 350 AW II… wait no, 450 is roomier, but bulkier. gl!

Can vouch for this

Sooo for value, I’ve been happy with Lowepro DroneGuard BP 250 — fits Air 2S Fly More + RC-N1 + 3 bats + hub, and straps a small tripod; padding’s solid and light rain’s been fine.
