Hey everyone — I’m looking for a solid charging hub setup for my DJI Mini 4 Pro and I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options. I’ve got the Fly More batteries (3 total) and I’m trying to streamline charging at home and when I’m traveling. Right now I’m using the stock charger + swapping batteries manually, which works, but it’s annoying and I’m not sure I’m doing it in the most efficient/safe way.
A couple specifics: I’d really like something that can charge multiple batteries in sequence (or at least manage them intelligently), and I’m hoping to keep my bag lighter by not carrying a bunch of separate bricks/cables. USB-C/PD support would be a big plus since I already use a 65W GaN charger for other devices. I’ve also seen a few third-party hubs on Amazon, but I’m cautious about battery health, heat, and whether they truly play nicely with Mini 4 Pro batteries.
What charging hub (DJI official or trustworthy third-party) would you recommend for the Mini 4 Pro, and what wattage/charger setup should I pair it with for the best results?
Sooo I went down the Amazon-hub rabbit hole too… honestly I’d just grab DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter and keep ur 65W GaN as travel backup.
- 65W PD works fine (slower), 100W PD is the sweet spot
- Skip no-name hubs; battery heat/handshake is a gamble
cheers

i've flown for years and tbh i stopped chasing random hubs—my current setup is a simple sequential USB-C hub + a legit 65W PD GaN, and i just dont charge packs hot; heat’s what kills em, not speed.
Hey, i feel u — swapping packs is annoying. Here’s what I’d do:
- **Option A (safest/value):** stick with DJI accessories in general. Their hubs/charging stuff just “talks” to the batteries right, and I’m satisfied w/ temps + battery health.
- **Option B (cheaper):** a reputable 3rd-party hub is probably fine, but only if it’s USB-C PD and doesn’t get hot.
- **Charger:** ur 65W GaN PD is perfect; use a decent USB-C cable and don’t charge in a sealed bag (heat is the real killer).
Story time: I did the same manual swap thing at first… got old fast lol. What I learned is the “hub” matters way less than the USB-C PD source and heat. With my current setup (a generic multi-bay hub + 65W GaN), it charges sequentially but it’ll downshift if the brick/cable isn’t truly PD (some C-to-C cables are sketchy). I started resting the hub on open air, not in my bag—temps dropped a lot. honestly that was the biggest battery-health win, you know?
Ok so i feel u… swapping packs gets old fast lol. For your setup, I’d stick with the official DJI Mini 4 Pro Two-Way Charging Hub — it’s been *super* reliable for me and does the “charge in sequence” thing without drama. Pair it with your 65W USB-C PD GaN brick (or even 30–45W works, just slower). Third-party hubs are tempting ($20-30ish), but imo not worth the heat/battery-health gamble. cheers!
Saw this thread earlier and wanted to offer a different perspective. @Reply #5 - good point regarding the wattage requirements, but I've always found that the official accessories carry a significant price premium that isnt always justified. In my experience, building a more modular DIY charging kit is much more effective for travel. I've tried many different setups over the years and I'd suggest looking at any high-output multi-port charger from Ugreen. You really cant go wrong with their PD-compliant hardware. Taking a DIY approach allows for a much more streamlined bag. Instead of carrying a hub that only works for one device, I prefer using a universal multi-port power station that can manage the drone batteries alongside a laptop and phone. As long as the power delivery specs match up and you use quality cables, the safety concerns are largely mitigated. I've found this method much more cost-effective and practical for field work than sticking strictly to the official ecosystem.
