Hey everyone — I’m trying to figure out the best propellers for the DJI Mini 4 Pro and could use some real-world recommendations.

I’m still on the stock DJI props, and they’ve been fine, but after a few months of flying I’m wondering if there’s anything better for my use. I do a mix of smooth cinematic shots and a bit of sport mode, mostly in light-to-moderate wind near the coast, and I’ve noticed the drone working harder (and sounding a little louder) when it gets breezy. I’m not looking for anything sketchy that could mess with stability or trigger warnings — reliability is my main concern.

I’ve seen a bunch of third-party options advertised as “low-noise,” “longer flight time,” or “better wind resistance,” but the reviews are all over the place. Also, I’m not sure how much difference it really makes versus just sticking with official DJI replacements.

For Mini 4 Pro owners: have you found any propellers that are genuinely quieter or more stable in wind without hurting performance, and which specific brand/model would you recommend (or avoid)?

+1, totally agree. Mini props are *super* sensitive to tiny balance changes, so a “low-noise” set that’s even slightly off can add vibes = more ESC load + more noise in wind (kinda the opposite+of+what+you+wan&linkCode=osi&tag=5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">opposite of what you want). For a budget/value move, I’d just buy 2–3 extra OEM sets and treat them like consumables, then do a quick “swap test” (front pair vs rear pair) if it starts sounding louder. Also, coastal wind + sand/salt = micro nicks fast… a cheap prop gauge/check + replacing early has been the best $/benefit for me (no complaints so far). cheers

Yep, this is the way

Ok so quick background: Mini-class drones are suuuper sensitive to tiny prop balance/shape changes. That’s why “better” props can actually make it louder or twitchier… more vibes = more work for the motors.

Why it matters: reliability/stability in wind is mostly about consistent pitch + balance, not marketing claims.

What I’d do: if you wanna try 3rd-party, I’ve been pretty satisfied with Master Airscrew Stealth Propellers for DJI Mini 4 Pro (usually like $15–$25 a set depending where you buy). Mine were maybe a hair quieter, no warnings, but wind handling wasn’t a night/day difference.

Avoid the super-cheap no-name “low noise” packs (like $8 for 4 sets) — idk, they’ve been the most hit/miss for vibration. cheers

- In my experience, I’d stick with fresh DJI props (they’re tuned + least warning-prone) vs “low-noise” third-party (hit/miss) vs “performance” ones (often louder).
- Tiny add: swap props more often—nicks/bends made my Mini 4 Pro way noisier and worse in coastal wind.

- For your situation, I’d honestly stick with fresh OEM sets like DJI Mini 4 Pro Propellers — they’re tuned for the ESC/IMU and I’ve had way fewer random vibes + “prop error” weirdness vs third-party.
- If it’s louder in coastal wind, it’s usually tiny nicks/warps or slightly loose screws; swapping to brand-new OEM props + checking motor mounts is the biggest “quieter + smoother” win I’ve found, idk but it’s been super consistent for me. cheers
