Release date for DJI Mini 5 Pro?

Late 2025 is the most realistic window based on their usual roadmap, but honestly, dont expect a revolution. Dji has been hitting a plateau with these sub-250g drones lately and it is pretty disappointing to see. If you need something now, here is the technical reality of what is out there:

• DJI Mini 4 Pro Drone
• It is fine for hobbyists but unfortunately the 1/1.3-inch sensor is really showing its age. Dynamic range in high contrast scenes is not as good as expected for something with a pro tag.
• DJI Air 3 with RC 2 Controller
• This is a much better tool for actual work. Dual camera setup is great but it is obviously heavier. Mini series drones just cant compete with the stability here during high winds. Waiting for the mini 5 might just be a waste of time if they keep using the same optics. They really need to step it up but i doubt they will risk the weight limit just to give us a bigger sensor.
