I've been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the DJI Mavic 4, but haven't heard any official word from DJI yet. I know the Mavic 3 was released in late 2021, so based on their typical release cycle, I'm guessing we might see the Mavic 4 sometime later this year or early next year.
Has anyone come across any reliable leaks, rumors, or insider information about when we can expect DJI to launch the Mavic 4? I'm excited to see what improvements and new features they'll bring to their flagship consumer drone.

Regarding what #3 said about "Just saw the leaked photo on the web," honestly those leaks just make me nervous. Every time a new flagship drops, DJI seems to change the battery design or the signal protocol, which is a huge pain for those of us who value a reliable, consistent kit. I have a dozen packs for my current setup and if the Mavic 4 forces us to buy entirely new DJI Mavic 4 Intelligent Flight Battery sets, it's gonna be a massive disappointment. Unfortunately, DJI has a history of launching drones with half-baked firmware recently. Remember how the Mavic 3 didn't even have functional Waypoints or O3+ stability at launch? It was a mess for months. If you need something that actually works right now without being a beta tester, the DJI Mavic 3 Classic is down to about $1599 and it is finally stable. I am also worried about controller compatibility... if it doesnt support the DJI RC Pro Controller, then what is the point of owning high-end gear? Buying into a new ecosystem every three years is getting old and frankly not as good as it used to be. Id rather wait and see if it even works with the DJI RC 2 before getting hyped.

Given that the Mavic 3 was released in November 2021, and DJI typically has a 2-3 year cycle between major updates, my best guess would be sometime in 2024.
